At Concerned Christians Canada, we are committed to speaking out
and bringing the truth of God's word to bare on all aspects of
society and life. Speaking into the culture is in fact being the
salt of this world that Christ called us to be.

Christ said we are the light of the world. He said that we are
not to hide this light under a bushel but that we are to live as
examples of holiness and Godliness in this dark world. With our
projects, which are focused on serving and blessing, we are
committed to demonstrating the love of Christ without forsaking the
gospel. We regognize that we are to be salt and light, not salt or light.

Concerned Christians Canada is encouraging Christians, who are
called by Christ's name to stand for Christ, and when
they have done all to stand, to stand having girded themselves with
the armor of God. We are sounding the trumpet call to all men and
women that love the Lord to be the watchmen over the nation that we
are called to be.
Our nation, although founded by men who believed in the God of
the Bible, has markedly departed not only from holding the Bible up
as THE authority for and above all men, but has substancially
departed from honoring the God of the Bible.
There are many attacks on the Biblical definition of the family.
God has blessed his definition of marriage, other choices bring
curses, not only on the adults but also on the children and on the
society that embraces those choices.
CCC is committed to explaining the benefits for God's design for
marriage. As an organization, we are also committed to
promoting God's model, to individuals, groups and politicians.
In this day and age, youth are hurting. Whether it be that they
have been wounded by sexual, physical, emotional or spiritual
abuse, at home or elsewhere, or broken by "dating" which has left
them abandoned and broken, whether they have had stability and
security robbed from them due to their parents divorcing, or any of
a myriad of other problems, children are more and more hopeless and
need to know that Christ is for them if the turn to Him. Find out
how CCC is reaching out to
youth.
We need your prayer support.
God is our source and our provider, but he uses people like us
to pray for one another, to edify one another and to build each
other up in the faith. He uses people like us working together in
the Spirit of Christ to change lives. Find out how CCC is encouraging the body of
Christ to work together to Pray, Act and Make a
Difference!

You may recall a recent article I wrote regarding my wrongful arrest at Calgary's old City Hall building for asking to speak to the mayor about being banned from City Hall for reading from the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Well, now that our thirty day no trespass notice is expired, we are going back, once again to exercise our democratic freedom to read from the Word of God, to preach and to praise God publicly. We encourage you to join us at Calgary's City Hall Atrium this Tuesday at noon, to help us prompt our City Councilors to preserve our democratic freedoms.
There is a lot of buzz on the Internet regarding our arrest outside the mayor's office at Calgary's old City Hall, and about who's problem this matter is anyway (Mayor Nenshi or Mayor Bronconnier)? Some have suggested that the current mayor has nothing to do with the matter of Street Church vs the City, but that this matter is really just the remaining remnants of a previous battle between the street preacher, Artur Pawlowski, and the former mayor Dave Bronconnier.
Did the battle start with Bronconnier? Yes. But since Calgary's new mayor took over, Street Church has made several attempts to meet with the mayor to discuss the ongoing matter with him and to give the current mayor an opportunity to review the matter first hand, in order that all the mistakes of the previous administration could be put behind us and that the City and Street Church team up for the benefit of Calgary's homeless population, moving peacefully and co-operatively forward along side one another (bare in mind that Street Church Ministries prepares over 200,000 meals per year and delivers them to the most vulerable segment of Calgary's population, its homeless citizens)
Have you taken time to think about what is really important in education? Here's your opportunity to voice your ideas. As you've probably heard on the radio – Alberta Education is seeking input into the NEW EDUCATION ACT.
It is SO IMPORTANT that our Christian home education voices be heard.
The deadline for input is January 8, 2012 with the new Education Act to be introduced to the legislature in the spring.

So in Canada it is illegal to read from the Bible at a municpal building but now legal to commit sexually immoral acts for money? Can anyone say end times?
Isaiah 5:20 Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!
2 Timothy 3:1-5 & 13 - But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. 2 For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, 4 treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these... 13 But evil men and impostors will proceed from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.
Galatians 6:7-8 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. 8 For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.
1 Corinthians 6:9-10 Do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor abusers, nor homosexuals, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

A Toronto judge has struck down Canada’s prostitution laws, saying provisions meant to protect women and residential neighbourhoods are endangering sex workers’ lives.
If Justice Susan Himel’s decision stands, prostitutes will be able to communicate freely with customers on the street, conduct business in their homes or brothels and hire bodyguards and accountants without exposing them to the risk of criminal sanctions.
The Superior Court judge suspended her ruling from taking effect for 30 days to give the government time to consider how to address potential consequences, including the emergence of unlicensed brothels.
CALGARY, Alberta, December 22, 2011 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Members of a Christian group in Calgary were disrupted from Christmas caroling and reading the Bible in the City Hall’s atrium after police and security officials arrested a number of them, charging them with trespassing.
City officials say that the group had been warned when they held a similar event previously that they must apply for a permit to hold an organized event in City Hall’s atrium.

“They failed to apply and the police were notified after last week’s event,” said Owen Key, the city’s manager of corporate security to the Calgary Herald. “They repeated that today, again not submitting an application through the approved process, choosing to hold this service again in the atrium.”
However, Christian Pastor Artur Pawlowski told LSN that he would like to “follow all the rules and do the permits, but in the permit process there is stuff that is simply unconstitutional” adding that he and his group will not “sign a document that is breaking the law.”
Mr. Mayor, I wanted to take this opportunity to clarify something with you. Just a little bit over a month ago, you sir spoke to the media declaring that the City of Calgary City Hall Atrium is the living room of the city and that it should be available and accessible to all Calgarians. You further made the point that that is not just for Calgarians that some may like, but the public spaces are for all Calgarians, even the ones that some people might not like.
Calgary Police remove an unidentified woman from the front of city hall in Calgary, AB December 20, 2011. She was one of six people, including street preacher Art Pawlowski, removed and arrested for trespassing after holding a sermon in the municipal building. JIM WELLS/ CALGARY SUN
Allegedly trespassing by holding an unsanctioned sermon at city hall, a street preacher and his cohorts were arrested Tuesday afternoon.
Art Pawlowski, with Street Church Ministries, and a group of followers were playing bongos and guitars, holding sermons and singing in the atrium of Calgary’s municipal building without the required approval, city officials said.
Today I was arrested at Calgary's City Hall for reading the Charter of Rights and Freedoms outside the doors of the City Council chambers at the base of the stairs.
We went today to the Atrium to celebrate our faith and share about our saviour during this Christmas Season. Corporate Security and the Calgary Police Department showed up and escorted and later arrested the pastor of the gathering. This provoked me to stand up and read from the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, pointing out that the Charter was being broken by their actions. I was then issued a no trespass order and immediately was escorted from City Hall.
I then went with a group of Christians who had been kicked out of City Hall to talk to the mayor about the issue. We walked into City Hall and asked to see the mayor. We went to see him to discuss the matter with him directly because it was due to his direct invitation that we went to the atrium to start with. We were told that he was not available, so we told the attendant at the security desk that we would wait patiently for him to come. Then as we waited quietly in the entrance to the old City Hall, several officers showed up and told us to leave. We explained that we were waiting to speak to the mayor and that we wanted to address the matter with him directly. They arrested us. I asked why I was being arrested, they kept telling me that I was trespassing. When I told them that City Hall is the hub of politics and decision making and that the courts have upheld municipal buildings as one of the best places of public protest, they told me once again that I was being arrested for trespassing.
Understand that the only thing I did was to listen to the preaching of the pastor and read from the Charter of Rights and Freedoms in City Hall and for that I was given a tresspass order and eventually arrested. A total of seven of us received tickets and six of us were arrested.
