  About Us

  • At Concerned Christians Canada, we are committed to speaking out and bringing the truth of God's word to bare on all aspects of society and life. Speaking into the culture is in fact being the salt of this world that Christ called us to be.

  • Christ said we are the light of the world. He said that we are not to hide this light under a bushel but that we are to live as examples of holiness and Godliness in this dark world. With our projects, which are focused on serving and blessing, we are committed to demonstrating the love of Christ without forsaking the gospel. We regognize that we are to be salt and light, not salt or light.

  • Concerned Christians Canada is encouraging Christians, who are called by Christ's name to stand for Christ, and when they have done all to stand, to stand having girded themselves with the armor of God. We are sounding the trumpet call to all men and women that love the Lord to be the watchmen over the nation that we are called to be.

Our nation, although founded by men who believed in the God of the Bible, has markedly departed not only from holding the Bible up as THE authority for and above all men, but has substancially departed from honoring the God of the Bible.

  • There are many attacks on the Biblical definition of the family. God has blessed his definition of marriage, other choices bring curses, not only on the adults but also on the children and on the society that embraces those choices.

CCC is committed to explaining the benefits for God's design for marriage. As an organization, we are also committed to promoting God's model, to individuals, groups and politicians.

  • In this day and age, youth are hurting. Whether it be that they have been wounded by sexual, physical, emotional or spiritual abuse, at home or elsewhere, or broken by "dating" which has left them abandoned and broken, whether they have had stability and security robbed from them due to their parents divorcing, or any of a myriad of other problems, children are more and more hopeless and need to know that Christ is for them if the turn to Him. Find out how CCC is reaching out to youth.

  • We need your prayer support.

God is our source and our provider, but he uses people like us to pray for one another, to edify one another and to build each other up in the faith. He uses people like us working together in the Spirit of Christ to change lives. Find out how CCC is encouraging the body of Christ to work together to Pray, Act and Make a Difference!

Calgarians Encourage Candidates to Come and Show Empathy for the Homeless
Fourth Annual Night on the Street Begins Friday, October 15th, 2010

(Calgary) Concerned Christians Canada Inc. (CCC), is formally announcing its' fourth annual awareness campaign uniting compassionate Calgarians, business leaders, and sponsors for a Night on the Street on Friday, October 15th from 6 PM - 12 AM across the street from City Hall. The Awareness Campaign is CCCs annual call to action for Calgarians and is an initiative to create awareness and engage election candidates with the reality of homelessness. CCC is convinced that it is important to expose the candidates and other citizens of Calgary to homeless people, one on one, in a safe environment and give them an opportunity to demonstrate that they care about the people behind the homelessness issue.

"Recently politicians have indicated some interest in homelessness issues. Our timing of this year's Night on the Street is intentional. We are looking to see which candidates are serious about the people rather than merely the issue. We are holding our event this year right before the election so that citizens of Calgary will have a real opportunity to see just how committed candidates are to the homeless people of Calgary. We have sent an invitation to candidates running for either Mayor or Alderman inviting them to come out and show the homeless and all of Calgary they care. It is said you can measure a society by the way in which they treat the most defenseless of that society. We are hitting the streets tonight and we hope that candidates will make a way to come, even for a little bit to show the homeless they care about them as people. We know it's campaign time, we know it's busy, but let's bring a little humanity to the race." stated Jim Blake, National Chairman of Concerned Christians Canada.

Concerned Christians Canada has teamed up with Street Church Ministries to put on this event. CCC feels that Street Church understands the reality of meeting needs of street people, arguably Calgary's most neglected people, since they have served them on the streets four times a week every week rain or shine, during all extremes of weather conditions. They have indicated that they want to give candidates an opportunity to speak directly with those who are in the trenches on how best meet the needs of these downtrodden citizens. "What better way is there to understand homeless people than to get into the trenches with those who are serving several times a week on the streets and experience street ministry and to speak to volunteers and homeless people directly. We are really looking for a positive and productive event where people in need will be served and politicians will be engaged in thinking about the people rather than strictly the issue. We also want Calgarians to know who is truly serious about dealing with the homeless crisis in Calgary. As we said, the event will be from six to midnight so the politicians could come by any time to chat with the homeless," said Blake.

This year's Night on the Street will take place on the sidewalk across from City Hall beginning at 6:00 pm October 15, to 12:00 am October 16 , 2010. Barbequed food will be prepared and served, by certified food handlers, to the homeless and to all who come to care for and meet with the homeless. A list of alderman and mayoral candidates that come to the event will be posted on Concerned Christians Canada's website and a follow up e-mail will be sent to CCCs e-mail list and networks notifying them who came.
