Don Braid Attacks Social Conservatives
Don Braid of the Calgary Herald states that believing and endorsing candidates that are social conservatives is shaming them and in turn shows his pro-Marxist mentality …
Social conservatives need to start boycotting organizations like the Calgary Herald by withdrawing all funds, both advertising and purchasing of papers, to send them a financial message that attacking conservatives is not acceptable. They need to stop funding the Herald's pro-cultural Marxist punditry and activism and start looking for, or starting up, real media alternatives that report the news instead of trying to reshape society. There is another option, of course they could re-label themselves a leftist social advocacy group rather than a media outlet as that would be more appropriate.
Case in point is an article written on October 14, 2017 by Don Braid. In the article entitled "Two campaign myths: the 51% tax hike and the goals of the CBE slate", he lovingly embraces the cultural Marxist slate crew that is running for the Calgary Board of Education this civic election. At the same time that he does this he attacks people who hold to, what would be often referred to as, conservative views (or in this case family and parental rights friendly views). In his article, he states that believing that a candidate is a -conservative and identifying them as one is akin to shaming that candidate. So what he openly does, by saying such a thing, is to "shame" all pro-family, and pro-parental rights candidates by labeling such candidates, something he clearly "hates", -conservative.
The irony of todays cultural-Marxists, and those that Karl Marx referred to as "the useful idiots", who would support and bring in their Marxist regime, is the pure hypocrisy that they walk in with their " justice warrior" group speak, whether they recognize they are doing it or not. They have an entitled mentality when it comes to their prejudice which is to say that they feel that they are fully allowed to smear and display bigotry against all "right" leaning citizens and think it fair game, but when leftists are not even attacked, but are rather merely exposed for what they are actually doing to undermine society, they cry foul.
Don Baird has exposed himself here as, at the very least a cultural-Marxist sympathizer, and perhaps worse yet, a spokesman for their cause. The Calgary Herald should slap him down for this disparaging comments towards pro-family and pro-parental rights candidates and citizens. They, of course, won't do that because the Calgary Herald promotes the leftist remodeling that is happening at all levels of our society. This is why we need true media alternatives that will get back to reporting the news rather than reshaping society.
As for the slate of candidates running for the Calgary Board of Education, they are clearly in favor of the cultural Marxist tactics of the Education ministry of Alberta, as the spokesperson for the slate Lisa Davis has openly stated that she supports, what others have clearly identified as, the LGBTQ agenda. In the article Don Braid wrote, that she is quoted as saying that she believes the CBE's approach to LGBTQ issues is the one thing that the Calgary Board of Education is doing right.
Society has been taken over by cultural Marxists at various levels of government and it's time to take back our country. We need strong leaders that understand what made our country, our provinces, and our cities great for many generations. We need leaders who once again will believe in parents instead of attacking them. Leaders who will promote strong families instead of promoting state raised comrades that embrace the latest and most destructive sexual orthodoxies and perverse curriculums as normal good and healthy.
