Our God is a faithful God. He knows our needs even when nobody else does. I want to give a testimony of the greatness of our King of kings.
Over the years, the Lord has had me walking by faith, doing things that to some have looked foolish. He has had me put Him and His Kingdom ahead of personal priorities, and that has been very hard and costly at points, but during all of that faith walk, even up to today, my King and my Messiah was a faithful and loving and amazing God to me and my household.
Many times, He would have me give to others even though we could not afford to pay for all of our bills. He would remind me of the woman at the temple who gave the mites out of her poverty. He was reminding me that the best gift we can give is the gift we give when we feel we can least afford it (the costly gift).
I have found that there is such blessing in giving that kind of a gift.
Anyway, the other day, we again were very low on food, and I prayed and said to my Lord, we will soon run out of food, and if you want us to fast rather than eat, so be it, we will fast for you Lord. (I was seeking His will; I knew that He knew our situation, that we have many bills and are in need, and that He knew that I have been praying and walking according to His directions as best as I could).
Anyway, within five hours of me saying that to the Lord, God placed on a sister in the Lord's heart to contact me asking me if I was in need of funds... "Yes, as a matter of fact we are," I said. Then she offered to bless us with funds.
Then today, God had me give away a truck we had set aside for His purposes, rather than trying to sell it to pay for bills. Then out of the blue, I received another message from that dear sister indicating that she had a friend who had felt to bless us as well with a financial blessing.
I also received a call today from an evangelistic orphanage ministry in Pakistan, that we help, letting us know that prayers had been answered and that God had enabled them to purchase land for ministry, enabling many to have a refuge from muslim persecution. They let us know that they were so excited at God's faithfulness in that He provided the land sooner than they expected and at a price that was one third less than it was supposed to be purchased for (the owner changed his mind and reduced the selling place for them). Isn't God amazing? What a day for God's glory.
There is still much that we need finances for, both personally and in ministry, but we know that God will faithfully provide for all of our needs as we continually seek His will and His direction.
You see, God is sooooo faithful that even when the world is going crazy all around you, He makes a way where there seems to be no way. The Lord is faithful and He says that He will repay. He will keep His promises, we just have to be faithful and do what He asks of us no matter how it looks to those around us and trust in the only trustworthy one, the Messiah and King.
The Bible tells us that for as many as walk by the Spirit, they are the sons of God. May God help us all to continue to trust Him always and to be led by the Spirit for His Kingdom and His glory in the mighty name of Yeshua. amen
