Are you being sifted?
Is satan sifting you? Has he got your number? You're not alone, many other brethren are going through heavy warfare. Also, the Apostle Peter endured it first:
31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: 32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.
You might think that Peter never fell after this prayer of Jesus, but he did. He denied Christ three times before the cock crowed after Jesus prayed this prayer.
But remember that Jesus restored him three times, one for each denial, and then told him to feed His sheep.
2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
16 For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.
The answer is the Armour of God:
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
The devil is raging as he knows his time is short and the day of the Lord will come when we least expect it. May we all be wise virgins and be faithful servants of Christ. May we abide in His love and be counted worthy at His coming.
