Church Revivalist on Islam - John Wesley

While many followers of the Islamic faith espouse its peaceful nature, others have recognised a darkly different reality of the religion.

Here are John Wesley's comments on Islam

john-wesley"Ever since the religion of Islam appeared in the world, the espousers of it...have been as wolves and tigers to all other nations, rending and tearing all that fell into their merciless paws, and grinding them with their iron teeth; that numberless cities are raised from the foundation, and only their name remaining; that many countries, which were once as the garden of God, are now a desolate wilderness; and that so many once numerous and powerful nations are vanished from the earth! Such was, and is at this day, the rage, the fury, the revenge, of these destroyers of human kind."

For those who would like to say that Christianity and Islam are the same beast in different clothes, firstly you need to do your research, on the influence of Christianity on societies and citizens versus the influence of Islam on societies and citizens and secondly you need to compare the doctrines and actions of Christ versus the doctrines and actions of Mohammad. Let's be clear, there is a distinct difference between the Muslim doctrines:

"The messenger of Allah [Mohammed - the orginator of the Mulsim faith] (Peace be upon him) said 'Surely, the gates of paradise are under the shadow of sword'" -- Sahih Muslim 20:4381

O believers, make war on the infidels who dwell around you. Let them find firmness in you. (Sura:9, Ayat:123)

Fight those who believe not even if they be People of the Book until they have willing agreed to pay the tribute in recognition of their submissive state. (Sura:9, Ayat:29)

You will be called to fight a mighty nation; fight them until they embrace Islam. (Sura:48, Ayat:16)

Then fight and slay the pagans wherever you find them. And seize them, beleaguer them and lie in wait for them, in every stratagem (of war). (Sura:9, Ayat:5)

and the great commission of the Bible:

Jesus words on using violence to resolve problems and on reaching the non-believers

Live by the Sword, Die by the Sword

52 But Jesus said to him, "Put your sword in its place, for all who take the sword will perish by the sword. Matthew 26:52

Jesus' instructions were different:

Make Disciples of Men and Baptize them

18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen. Matthew 28:18-20

Preach the Gospel

He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Mark 16:15

Christians protest for life, peace, Biblical morality and freedom. Muslims protest cartoons that defame Mohammed or Islam, bomb cars and buses, use women and children as suicide bombers and shields in times of war, and warn people that 911 was only the beginning.

If you don't believe me, your not paying attention. Both France and Britain have both experienced the dire consequences of underestimating the damage Islam brings to freedom, democracy and peace. Other multicultural nations would be wise to learn from the mistakes of other nations.

Every tribe and tongue are welcome in Canada but tyranical regimes and destructive belief systems, like neo-nazism, and religions that advocate wickedness being written into the laws should not be tollerated.

Islam is a dangerous religion

The following pictures were taken at a muslim protest in London on February 3, 2006 when some in the Muslim community gathered to protest against the publication of cartoons in the Danish press that were considered to be insulting to the Prophet Muhammad.

Jim Blake

All glory goes to the living God, maker of the heavens and the earth, for He alone is worthy of all glory and honor and praise. I consider the sufferings of this age not worthy to be compared to what is to come for those who place their faith in the King of kings and persevere in faith, day by day, until the end.

For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.

As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him.

For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.

As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.

For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.

But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;

To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.

Psalm 103:11-18
