Concerned Christians Canada is encouraging Christians, who are called by Christ's name to stand for Christ, and when they have done all to stand, to stand having girded themselves with the armor of God. We are sounding the trumpet call to all men and women that love the Lord to be the watchmen over the nation that we are called to be.

Our nation, although founded by men who believed in the God of the Bible, has markedly departed not only from holding the Bible up as THE authority for and above all men, but has substancially departed from honoring the God of the Bible.
There are many attacks on the Biblical definition of the family. God has blessed his definition of marriage, other choices bring curses, not only on the adults but also on the children and on the society that embraces those choices.

CCC is committed to explaining the benefits for God's design for marriage. As an organization, we are also committed to promoting God's model, to individuals, groups and politicians.
In this day and age, youth are hurting. Whether it be that they have been wounded by sexual, physical, emotional or spiritual abuse, at home or elsewhere, or broken by "dating" which has left them abandoned and broken, whether they have had stability and security robbed from them due to their parents divorcing, or any of a myriad of other problems, children are more and more hopeless and need to know that Christ is for them if the turn to Him. Obama's Pick for Secretary of Education Lobbied for Gay High School

President-elect Barack Obama Tuesday tapped Chicago Public Schools chief Arne Duncan to become secretary of education.

…Duncan is seen as gay-positive.

This fall he supported an LGBT high school for Chicago. Called the Social Justice High School: Pride Campus, the plan was put on hold last month following opposition from conservatives and concerns by some members of the LGBT community.

The plan is being reworked and is expected to be taken up next year.

Under the original plan, the school was to open in 2010 and eventually serve 600 students, about half of whom were expected to identify as gay.

Its mission statement said it would serve “the underserved population of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Questioning youth and their allies.”

…“He’s not beholden to any one ideology, and he’s worked tirelessly to improve teacher quality,” Obama said.

Haha, right, “he’s not beholden to any one ideology…” except maybe the one that thinks we should open up gay high schools so that we can indoctrinate everyone’s kids about the homosexual agenda and push those who are “questioning” all the way over the line and into the destructive homosexual lifestyle using tax payer dollars.

David Brody at the Christian Broadcasting Network had this to say about Obama’s pick:

Obama is going to get a lot of flack over this pick from social conservative groups and it wouldn’t surprise me if Republican Senators raise a fuss about this during his confirmation hearing.

…Look, I know how this will be spun. Some will say this isn’t really a “gay high school.” It’s really more a safe place and an educational environment that will cater towards gays and lesbians. But folks, let’s be real here. It’s a high school for gay students. Plain and simple.

While the idea of a gay high school may be troubling for some, the problem for Obama is that a pick like this doesn’t portray him in such a centrist way. It gives the impression that he’s nominating wild liberals to his Cabinet.

Arne Duncan may have the total package and be a great Education secretary, but pushing ideas like a gay high school will make social conservatives wonder what he will be pushing next.

Don’t be fooled by what the mainstream media have been saying about all of Obama’s “centrist” cabinet nominees. While the President-elect has apparently gone out of his way to placate fiscal and national security conservatives with his appointments (at least to some degree), social conservatives have a lot to be concerned about.
